We are attempting to get together plans for a summer membership meeting. Amoung other agenda items, an election will be held for 2010/2011 officers. A summary of our June 2010 meetings can be found below.
Summer Meeting. On June 15th we hosted an open meeting in the Boardroom at the Holiday Inn Downtown at the Park, 200 South Pattee St. in Missoula. A social with light refreshments was held from 6:30 - 7:00 pm.
At 7:00 pm, MIke Thompson, Region 2 Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks Biologist, presented a program on the impacts of predators on Region 1 and 2 elk and deer herds. Those of you who attended the December 2009 regulation hearing in Missoula by FWP saw this very informative and eye opening presentation.
Kalispell Meeting. We also held a meeting in Kalispell on Thursday, June 17th at the Kalispell Red Lion Hotel (20 North Main Street). A social started at 6:30 pm with a presentation on chapter activities at 7:00 pm. We invited Jim Williams, Biologist with the Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks to give an update on their activities and plans for future wildlife activities.
